Future events
In the near future we have a number of multimedia events planned. All this activity takes a lot of time and effort for which we depend on a small team of dedicated volunteers.
Please feel free to browse the site and contact us if you want to be put on our mailing list. We hope to develop these evenings as an alternative to the Open Mic sessions that we have had in the past. All poets and musicians are most welcome.

So many people have been asking me about what’s going on at the Gallery, and as the site seems fairly static, here goes -
TWO NEW BOOKS from Flux Gallery Press are already out – The first, February 2010, is a collection of essays and poems by friends [with a series of illustrations]about … but not by it must be stressed … the “legendary unfortunate” T.F.Griffin; it is called “Born Into An Unquiet”.
The second, from May of 2010, is a volume of poetry from our newest author, the refreshing and accessible Linda Marshall, called, I think, “Half Moon Glasses.” This is her first publication for Flux. so welcome onboard, Linda.
[Let's give the serious poets a run for their money].
In preparation from Dan at the moment for release later this year is the second volume for the Flux by Genny Rahtz, who created the moving and highly eloquent “Prayer Flags” during the early days of the press.
Dan & Julie [preparing for a BA in Art at Leeds University] have been very busy this week – the first in August – decorating the innards of the Gallery itself and making essential repairs where needed. The outside door is now a different colour and even has proper numbers on it too.
Full details of cover designs & author updates will be added to the site as soon as is possible.
OK for now,
Dr Ralph.

If anyone would like to write for the site, please let me know and I’m more than happy to give access. I design the site but don’t add any content so please don’t complain the site is dead if you don’t add to it!
