“Born Into An Unquiet” is a book unlike any other – not that is is unique or revolutionary, it is just a collection of essays and poems from people who have found themselves affected, for good or ill, by Tony’s life.

Initially, it was due to be released last October, closer to the date of and as a celebration of T.F.G’s 60th birthday – so apologies to those who may feel that they have had to wait.

Do,however, find time to ask the poet about the very rare proof copy – two books in one cover. Sadly, the books will not be “two for one” on the night.

It certainly is a unique volume and a must for anyone interested in the work of T. F. Griffin or in the wider ‘Hull Poets’ phenomenon, especially with the publication this year of OLD CITY: NEW RUMOURS which anthologises poets connected to Hull. BORN INTO AN UNQUIET contains specially commissioned poems by several poets, critical appreciations of Griffin’s work, reviews, a bibliography and much else.
